The White Russian is among the best, easiest, and most popular vodka cocktails you will come across. The creamy counterpart to the equally famous Black Russian—vodka and coffee liqueur—the white version is incredibly simple to make by just adding cream to the black one. Made …

It’s March and that means the most fun holiday is fast approaching: St. Patrick’s Day! Don’t stress about running to the store for spirits. Drizly will bring the party to you with their alcohol delivery at your service.
Normally we’d be out and about, cheersing with friends but times have changed. We’re no longer going to be flocking to the pubs, dressed in green from head to toe. Instead, we’ll be celebrating in our living rooms… it’s different but that doesn’t mean it can’t still be fun!
While we can still dress in emerald tones, decorate, and Zoom with our friends there’s one thing that doesn’t seem quite as replicable: the drinks. We’re definitely going to miss the big selection of beers and cocktails we’d get at a bar, so our editors did some digging and found Drizly.
Drizly alcohol delivery brings alcohol right to your door in under 60 minutes. Yep, all you have to do is fill up your cart and place your order in their app or online. While the convenience is unmatched, you can also compare prices between all of the local liquor stores in one place. This allows you to find the best price and also get an even wider selection.
When we think of St. Paddy’s Day we can’t help but think of a perfect pint of beer. Thankfully, Drizly brings your favorite Guinness Draught to you and lets you explore even more. Choose from American-style Lagers, Pilsners, and IPAs (yes, the weirder drinks you wouldn’t normally try but always wanted to). And what Saint Patrick’s Day would be complete without a bottle of Irish Whiskey? Shop Jameson and so many more right from the Drizly app.
With Drizly you can get it all from beer, wine, and liquor – we’re definitely adding a bottle of Baileys to our order for some Irish coffee. And we’re loving the ability to add cups, ice, and snacks so that everything is taken care of for our at-home festivities.
Just because you can’t go to a parade, it doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun right from home. We’re turning on Drizly this year for our drink delivery and any other party supplies that slip through the cracks – after all they do deliver in under an hour.
Enjoy St. Patrick’s Day the way you want knowing that Drizly is just a click away – trust us, this is our new go-to for any and all occasions.

Staying in is the new going out. While this year hasn’t really gone as planned, and we’re all missing out on a lot of fun social occasions, one thing is for sure; you can still have a damn good night at home. Drizly to the …
Sometimes we call a Bloody Mary “the whole meal.” In the cocktail world, this certainly seems true. What other drink is loaded up with celery stalks, carrot sticks, pickles, olives, lemon slices, lime twists, and the occasional cheese cube or salami roll? It’s like a salad bar at the bar. So I decided to help the breakfast Bloody Mary live up to its legend as a Complete Meal. Breakfast is served.
This recipe for spicy, refreshing Bloody Marys is a perfect accompaniment to eggs benedict or other brunch favorites.
How do you make a good Bloody Mary?
First make your own homemade Bloody Mary Mix! My version is mostly pantry ingredients and blends up in a minute or two.
The unpredictability of fresh tomatoes led me to whole, canned tomatoes. Many of the flavors and spices here are familiar although I added a few layers of heat with horseradish, hot pepper sauce, and Sriracha.
Make this ahead and chill it the night before. One less thing to prepare the next morning! (I add the vodka right before serving).
If you only have one drink at your next brunch, let this breakfast Bloody Mary be it. Now you don’t even have to cook! Unless you count microwaving the fully cooked bacon.
Breakfast Bloody Mary
- Large container
- Drinking glass
- 4 cups tomato juice
- Juice of 2 large lemons
- 1-2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp prepared horseradish
- 1 1/2 cloves garlic, passed through a garlic press
- 2 tsp coarsely ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
- Unflavored vodka, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Celery sticks, for serving and munching
- Place tomato juice in a large container with a tight-fitting lid. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, garlic, pepper, and Tabasco; shake vigorously. Taste, and adjust for seasoning; the mixture should be quite spicy.
- Pour 1 part vodka and 3 parts Bloody Mary mix over ice in a shaker. Shake well. Pour into glasses. Squeeze a wedge of lemon over drink (do not subsequently stir or shake drink), discard used wedge. Garnish with a large stick of celery (reserve extra stalks for munching) and a large lemon wedge.
Be adventurous and change the standard recipe to a wasabi bloody mary. Turn this traditional brunch cocktail into a spicy explosion to the senses. Opt for green olives on toothpicks, small pickles, or even a strip of beef jerky. The wasabi gives this bloody mary …
If juicing sounds too healthy for you, may we suggest adding booze? The beets turn the vodka a fantastic shade of pink, and ginger adds a flavorful kick. This beet infused vodka martini will simply blow your mind. Cook beets in a large saucepan of …
